About DistilledWaterFinder

I started this site after realizing how hard it is to track down distilled water while traveling. It's surprising how each country seems to deal with distilled water differently. Sometimes it's in the drinking water aisle of a supermarket, sometimes you can find it in the cleaning aisle or at a gas station, some countries carry it only in pharmacies, and some countries don't seem to sell it at all. When I went looking for a resource that pulled this information together, I couldn't find one. So I built this website.

DistilledWaterFinder is a community reference for anyone who needs distilled water regularly — for a CPAP machine, a sinus rinse device, or another medical purpose. It brings together first-hand knowledge from people who've already done the legwork: which stores carry it, what brands to look for, which cruise lines stock it, and which water treatment options actually work.

The site is just getting started, but I hope it grows quickly as the community adds their knowledge.

How it works

• Anyone can browse listings — no account required.
• To submit a listing, create a free account and confirm your email. Your first few posts are reviewed by a moderator before going live.
• Once you have three approved posts, your account is trusted and future posts go live immediately.
• Listings can be marked “Still accurate” by any logged-in user to keep the verified date current.
